I designed and built two puppets for A2ct's 2017 production of "Seussical the Musical". My goals were to make the puppets read well to the audience, perform well for the actors, and look like Dr. Seuss characters while staying consistent with the costume and set design. And because I wasn't available as a puppet captain for every night of the run, I had to build them to stand up to hard use.
